Rustic Candles & Giftware was established in February of 2015 and is solely owned and operated by young Canberra mum Amber O’Meley who started what was once a little project while on maternity leave with baby number 1.
Amber is self taught from day one and after making her first batch of products she couldn’t wait to share her hand made products with family and friends as Birthday and Christmas gifts which followed with further orders and request for more products.
Amber has invested countless hours researching, trialing, refining and developing her products to ensure that they stack up to the best on the market which has been crucial to the delivery of the products produced today which are visually and aromatically amazing.
Rustic Candles & Giftwares soy candles and melts are made using the finest ingredients available within the industry to allow for the delivery of a quality product. Our candles and melts have been highly complimented and seen many referrals from current clients for whom we are forever grateful for!
After realising the opporunities open to the business Amber further expanded the range of products and services to include gift packages, diffusers, wedding florals, wedding packages and wedding styling.

About Our Candles
Rustic’s Candles are produced with only the best soy wax available to the candelier industry. A high quality global leading wax is essential when it comes to producing a premium soy candle. Our wax choice is free from pesticides and herbicides, they contain no genetically modified material. The wax is manufactured using pure soy beans and contains no petroleum (paraffin waxes). It is Manufactured according to sustainability and renewable resource management.
Unfortunately we can not classify our wax products as organic because of the production process of the wax changing from a liquid to wax state this rules out the classification. However, if you are looking for an eco-friendly wax, then soy candles produced by us is a perfect choice.
About Soy Wax Production
The making of soy wax commences with soybeans from which the oil is separated. This oil is then purified to give pristine soybean oil which then goes through a process called 'hydrogenation', turning it into a solid. Unlike other vegetable or soy waxes on the market, our waxes used are 100% vegetable, guaranteed! There are no beeswax or petroleum products hidden.
Depending on the blend, a small amount of vegetable botanical oils may be added to give the waxes their unparalleled characteristics and performances. These ingredients are processed under close supervision with careful regard for secrecy.
About Our Oils
Our high quality diffuser oil provides a superior scent throw for your diffuser.
Personal testing must be completed to achieve optimal results. Please note care should be taken not to spill the diffuser base on any surface.
If spillage occurs wipe away immediately. The diffuser base may permanently stain or damage surfaces if prolonged contact is made.
Keep away from wood and plastic surfaces and store safely away from children and pets. After skin contact: Generally the product does not irritate the skin.
After eye contact: Rinse opened eye for several minutes under running water.
